Hello and Welcome. I am so happy you are here. My name is Rachell and I am the owner of High Altitude Esthetics + Wellness and your treatment provider.

Originally born in Northern Ohio, my mom moved us to Tennessee when I was two years old. After moving around a bit- we finally settled in a small town suburb of Nashville at the start of my Kindergarten year. I lived there until I moved to Murfreesboro, TN to attend college in the fall of 2009. I graduated from my Bachelor’s program in 2014 with a degree in Nutrition and Food Science. I then moved to Summit County in 2016 and met my husband 4 months later. We have lived in Keystone since 2018 with our two tabby cats Beans and Biscuit.

In October of 2020, after almost 15 years of working in food and beverage, I finally chose to pursue a career in the beauty industry and enrolled at the Aveda Institute of Denver. Three days a week for thirteen months I drove to and from Denver from my house in Keystone and graduated in November 2021. I passed my exams and became officially licensed in February 2022. I worked at a local spa for about a year and a half before moving into the single studio space I am in now in June 2024.

High Altitude Esthetics + Wellness was officially established in June 2025 after purchasing the business, formerly known as MTN Empress, from the original owner.

I decided to become an entrepreneur because I care deeply about the quality of care I am providing. As the treatment provider I want to have full control over what treatments I am able to offer and how I offer them. Everything is I do is based on providing the highest level of quality care to my treatment room and clients.

Anyone with a good heart is welcome within this space I have built. Please feel assured you and your skin’s health are in good hands.
